Le Youth reached out about working on some tour visuals to coincide with touring their new album titled 'Reminders'.

The tour visuals would feature themes and styles used in the album campaign to make everything feel connected and personal.

Getting Conceptual

—

Le Youth has a very personal and intimate approach to his DJing and songwriting. We wanted to connect the fans and Le Youth with the visuals and the mix. The visuals which coincided with each release could be layered and played as the singles and tracks would come on in the sets.

I also included textural elements and colour washes for the VJ to overlay live footage of the audience onto, making everything feel together.

Research & Development

Using heavily layered and affected footage with bespoke photographic and custom elements, we created little moments, all styled within the same grades from the 'Reminders' album package.

Outcome

—

Le Youth toured the album visuals with sold-out shows across the U.S.
