Darren had been livestreaming in his greenhouse while working on the album, and we wanted to create a visual that echoed the natural look while also exploring his love for writing music with analogue technology. We started with the idea of fauna taking over a self-sustained ecosystem or terrarium. We explored an 'evolution' captured over time, or something that portrays a passing of time.

We explored how self-contained natural ecosystems might evolve with a tech-edge. Using botanical illustrations and algorithmic ecosystems as a reference for how the plants might grow, thrive, or survive within their element. A digital playground that follows the rules of nature, where a plant might be 'enhanced' through technology. We want to see how these rules are in play, from transparent leaves that allow for light to pass through and hit the forest floor, to plants that create their own light and how they might interact with their environment.
