This Never Happened reached out about working on some visualisers which would bring the artwork from the Lane 8 'Reviver' album to life. 

The album featured a mirror which reflected the environment around it.

Research & Development

The visualisers echoed the background in a looping inwards motion, drawing us deeper into the music and the environment which inspired Lane 8 to write the album. Using real locations in some of the backgrounds, and stock footage in others allowed me to get very personal with the music and the visuals it drew upon.

Outcome

Hosted on the This Never Happened / Lane 8 YouTube channel, the album and singles received over 12.8 million views on YouTube, and 55.4 million streams on Spotify in the first year.
